Yes! Quick and Easy layout

Good morning creative friends! I hope your supplies are keeping you busy in these challenging times. Sometimes we have a lot of time to scrap and sometimes (let’s face it, more often than not) we don’t and with a pile of photographs bigger than my mother, sometimes you need a quick “go to” design.

I’ve been working my way through a pile of pictures from a dog walk in the New Forest a few years ago and I’ve been using mostly Paige Evans Truly Grateful. Most people probably don’t take so many pictures on a dog walk but we don’t normally have a dog so it was very exciting for us when Arthur the Dachshund came to stay.

We’ve really moved away from traditional 6×4 photos it seems but I still tend to print mine off this way and then think about page design later. Here I wanted to use the three pictures of Miss B having fun so I went back to a design I used to use a lot – 3 portrait photos in a strip. That’s a significant chunk of your page sorted so it’s a really quick and easy way to get another layout in your “done” pile. I wanted to pick out the blue and pink in the photos so I used tiny borders above and below, one using a border punch – remember those!

I added a few bits of ephemera top left and bottom right and then a few of the puffy stickers to go with the title and it was complete! I was taking part in the Lottie Loves Paper on-line crop so I was pleased to get another challenge under my belt and 3 more photos onto a layout.

Do you have a “go to” design to give you a quick start when you need it? We’d love to see.

Stay safe and keep scrapping x
