Winter Ball – Scrapbook Layout

Hi hi

Veering off from my previous loud and proud Christmas layouts, this page was about a charity ball that we attended a couple of years ago. It was so dark in there that we could hardly see what we were eating, let alone take any decent shots – hence my ridiculous face when we tried our first selfie…

I was so annoyed with the dark photos that other than the picture we took at home ready to go out, I only made 2 pages about the event, this one, and one about food… I wanted to get as many memories onto one page as I could and so I kept the layout really simple to offset the number of photos.

I used Crate Paper Snowflake for my Christmas album for 2019 so carried that through to the 12×12 pages as well. I added in a piece of pink vellum that I’ve had in my stash for years, just co create another soft layer.

I added a doily and a few stickers, some of which I popped up onto foam It’s not a favourite layout by any means – vellum is actually really difficult to tear and impossible to distress I have found! But, it’s another event completed and more stash in the albums rather than on the shelves waiting to be used. I don’t seem to be making a dent though!

Stay safe and keep smiling x
