This is my scary face!

My lovely team have shared some amazing projects recently and I was feeling left out so I thought I’d share something non-Christmassy.

I hadn’t scrapped in weeks and weeks and then I went on a retreat that I’d been looking forward to for so long.  When I got there though, even though I had loads of inspiration, I found I really struggled to actually make each page.  This Halloween project was probably the one I found the least hard because I knew exactly how I wanted to use the ‘Cobweb Mesh” cut file

I layered a sheet of orange gingham from Simple Stories onto a white border and then laid the cut file over the top.  This gave me a really interesting background with plenty of texture so the rest of the layout came together fairly well.

I used some Pebbles paper under the photo that was mounted onto lime cardstock because I wanted to bring a bit of green into the patterns as well.  The embellishments are from the same Simple Stories collection as the papers plus some really old October Afternoon ones.

I finished with a few black enamel gems and some random letter stickers from my stash and I finally have these cute witchy pics of my little girl in my album rather than sitting in a drawer – huzzah!

With love and colour
