Terri Morris – Today

Hi everyone, it’s Terri here.
As soon as I saw this ‘Cross Stitch Heart’ cut file designed by Paige Evans I knew which collection I wanted to use with it. However we don’t really do anything special for valentines day so I have used a photo of me and my fiancé when we went out for my birthday.

I used the pre cut Heart cut file on white cardstock. To add the pink shades on top I used a blending tool with Distress Oxides in Picked Raspberry, Abandoned Coral and Spun Sugar. Check the Distress Oxides out on the website as they are currently in the sale!

Fussy cut hearts, a tag and pieces from the thicker embellishment pack create the decoration for the layout.

The ‘today’ for the title was done using Mermaid Markers to create a brush script word. A few splatters of Dylusions Shimmer spray ink in Bubblegum Pink (also available in the sale on the website!) to finish off.
