Terri Morris – Paige Evans “Mummy”

Hi, Terri back with another travel inspired layout. When I saw this Mummy cut file by Paige Evans in the shop I knew it would be perfect for using to document something from my trip to Egypt in 2018. However, it could also be used for a museum trip, to document a school project or Halloween party too.

I chose to use the file cut from white cardstock and then I coloured it with ‘Bumblebee’ Shimmerz paint. This time I stuck it flat on to the kraft cardstock next to vertical strips of patterned paper.

I’m trying to use up some of my older stash so I pulled out what is left of my Amy Tangerine ‘Shine On’ collection. I love the mix of black, white and kraft that is in this range. It is so different to any of the collections that have been out in recent years.

I seem to have a thing about 2 photo layouts at the moment and this page is no exception. The mummy cut file is large and bold so I added 3 small clusters of embellishment around the photo mat. Each includes a fussy cut camera, punched heart and gold leaf sticker. Finished off with a title using three different fonts to create interest in the slightly longer title.

Thank you for joining me on the blog today, don’t forget to share any of your creations using cut files from Pretty My Page. Tag us on Instagram and Facebook as we love to see your work.
