Terri Morris – Hey Good Lookin’

Hi, Terri here with a blog post showcasing the Paige Evans Butterfly Heart cut file. This cut file is available to purchase as a pre cut item from white, cream, black cardstock in the shop. 

I painted a background using Shimmerz paints and then layered the cut file on top using foam pads to add dimension to the layout. The painted background was done using three different colours in patches and the same colours also splattered. I’m loving using the Shimmerz paints at the moment, they are so easy to use and add a lovely sparkle of colour to the page.

I’ve dug in to my older Maggie Holmes collections for this layout of my new kitten Virgil. He is such a cutie and the animal frame foam Thickers were perfect to embellish this page. Plus you can’t go wrong with heart embellishments on a layout, they are my go to shape!

Cut files are so versatile and can create such fantastic focal points for layouts. I can’t stop buying them! I’m also desperately trying to use up older stash so I can justify purchasing some of the new collections. Have you been tempted by any of the new offerings?
