Terri Morris – Exploding Box
It’s DT member Terri’s birthday today and she has this amazing present to share with us. She says:
New to the blog this month is this amazing pre cut exploding heart box cut file from Paige Evans. It is such a great design and I was able to use it as a template to create a box from patterned paper. This means I will be able to use it over and over again (until I’m sick of box mini albums!). These are great as a gift and also for scrapping multiple small photos of one event.

I used lots of older co-ordinating papers from my stash and drew round each section of the cut file, then cut out and folded in to the box shape. The pieces all glue on top of each other in the centre and then fold up.

I used small photos from our trip to London last summer as the basis for my box. Decorated with a variety of small embellishments from my extensive stash.

Patterned paper works so well with this cut file as you can see both sides of the paper. However, if you prefer you could make a more sturdy box by covering the cardstock cut file with patterned paper or even get messy and add some mixed media. I think this could also look amazing done with black cardstock and some hints of colour from patterned paper.

Thanks for joining us on the blog today. Don’t forget to share your cut file creations with us on Facebook and Instagram.
Happy Crafting!
