Terri Morris – Chill
Terri here with my first blog post of April. I’m thinking back to some of my summer holidays for a couple of posts this month. The first focus is on the fab ‘palm leaves cluster’ cut file available in both digital and pre cut versions on the website.

The palm leaves were duplicated, resized and then cut from white cardstock. Gesso was applied to both before adding splashes of different shades of green watercolour paint.

I stacked them on top of each other to create a shelf for my photos. I added white gesso and splashes of co-ordinating watercolour paint on the background patterned paper.

I focused all the embellishment and detail to the centre of the layout. Using a doodled border to frame the page.

I recently had a little splurge on some of the new collections so I’ve made a pledge to myself that I’ve got to alternate using new and old stash when scrapping. Even better I’m hoping to mix them together.
Thanks for joining us on the blog today. Don’t forget to tag us on Facebook or Instagram with anything using Pretty My Page cut files.
Happy Crafting!
