This layout uses the pre-cut file Bed of Roses available in white, cream or black cardstock available in the shop.

I used Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks in Blueprint Sketch, Peacock Feathers and Salty Ocean with a blending tool to create a bright, bold background on some heavy weight cardstock. To add interest I splattered the ink with water which lifted some of the colour.

Laying the bright white cut file over the bold colourful background gives a great contrast.

For this layout I have gone with a kind of monochromatic style for the colouring focusing on the blue/green background when choosing embellishments from my extensive stash.
