Terri-Ann Morris – Borough Market Mini Book

Terri here back with my second creation of the month and this time I have a little something different for you.

I’ve created a mini book which measures approximately 3×4 inches. I’ve incorporated 2 different cut files within the mini book. I used the digi versions of ‘Coffee Cup Large’ and ‘Umbrella’.

I re sized the cut files in Silhouette Studio so they were as close to 3×4 inches as possible then I cut out a coffee cup, two sets of clouds and an umbrella from white cardstock.

When cut out they were very delicate so in order to give them stability I backed them with various different patterned papers.  I added small photos and embellishment to each page. I’m determined to use up some of my older stash so there is quite a mix of manufacturers throughout the mini book.

This mini book is full of photos from our recent trip to Borough Market in London in August when we had torrential rain and thunderstorms. I love wandering round food markets taking photos of the produce on offer.

To create the mini book I punched holes in the cut files and some 3×4 inch pieces of patterned paper at the top right hand corner.

 

Once all the pages were embellished I threaded the holes with coloured ribbon and tied in a simple bow to finish.
