Sunshine

If you’ve seen my recent social media posts you’ll know that I’m trying to scrap more in the way of challenges or things that take my fancy rather than things for other commitments. This layout is one such project.

I used a scrap lift from Scrap Squad FB and tied it in with one of the Chocolate Challenges on For The Love of Pretty Paper. It was a great way to use up lots of the scraps I was getting down to.

It wasn’t until I had stuck all the triangles on that I realised I couldn’t stitch it because it wouldn’t fit. I cut the strips out and stitched them but my machine is not playing nicely with others (and I am part way through making NHS headbands too…) I don’t normally stitch on paper because it frightens me but lots of people do and I had the machine out but I wish I had left things alone now!

I’ve actually turned the sketch 90 degrees to fit with the portrait photo and I really like how it turned out so I think I will use it again the way it was intended next time.

I’ve used Paige Evans Truly Grateful for all of the layouts and even managed to sneak in some older kraft cardstock which feels good to use.

I’ve now scrapped all of the photos from this dog walking event! Huzzah!
