Sarah Packer – We Found Nemo – Something Fishy cut file

Hi All, Sarah here today to share with you a layout I created using the cute Something Fishy by Pretty my Page cutfile (available in the store as a download and pre-cut). 

I cut the file in white cardstock and kept the cut out fish, as I wanted to us them later on.  I used the cut file as a stencil with some Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks for the background of this lay out. I then painted a few of the fish pieces I had saved to match the Clown fish in one of my photos and raised them on foam pads.

I trimmed my background down to 11.5×11.5 so that I could add a patterned paper border from the Simple Stories Sunshine and Blue Skies collection.  I also mounted my photos on papers from the same collection and positioned them on the page opposite to where I had inked the fish.  I then embellished with a few pieces of ephemera from the Simple Stories collection. I used some chipboard Thickers for the title. I then finished the page with some silver sequins which I added to a few of the fish as bubbles and a few turquoise sequins around my embellishment clusters!

I think this cut file works perfectly with a few of the photos I took at the London Aquarium ?
