Sarah Packer – T’was The Night Before Christmas

Sarah here again! Can’t believe how chilly it has got, so what better way to warm up than with a lovely mug of Hot Chocolate!!

My layout features the Pretty My Page exclusive cut file – Hot Chocolate Mug Mesh.  I used this on my page in its original size and cut in white cardstock.  I backed it with some Christmas themed papers and added some pom poms which I had left over from the Crate Paper Snow and Cocoa collection.

I raised it up on foam pads and stuck it on a sheet of brown card stock so that the cut file would stand out and the mugs look like they are filled with hot chocolate! I mounted my photo on two pieces of the patterned papers that I back filled the cut file with.

Once the photo was stuck down I added the title embellishment from an old Cocoa Vanilla collection as it was perfect for my photo taken on Christmas Eve last year! I then added some acrylic pieces from Freckled Fawn (Holly Jolly circle, Candy Cane and Coffee mug), a wood veneer border piece and a small ephemera Christmas tree and and a bow!

This cut file is so perfect for those red cup photos, hot chocolate on cold winter walks, or if like me, the hot chocolate on Christmas eve tradition photos ?
