Sarah Packer – Let’s Go Fly a Kite

Hi There,
Sarah here with you today! I’m sharing a layout using the lovely Kites cut file.  As soon as I saw this cut file it just screamed Mary Poppins at me!!  I had a couple of photos from when I went to see the new Mary Poppins Returns movie just after Christmas with my son, Mum and Nan!

I backed the kites with three papers from the new Crate Paper Maggie Holmes Sunny Day collection and mounted them on foam pads. I trimmed half an inch off two sides of my white card stock and mounted on Whimsy paper from the same collection – I did gut this sheet so that I had some left over for other projects.

I mounted my photos on leftovers of the patterned papers and stuck them both at the bottom of my page. I then added the two kites to the page so that the were slightly overlapping each other and the larger of my two photos. I splattered some pink ink at the top left and bottom right corners of the layout and embellished with some Hip Kit exclusive die cuts and some lovely gold glittery Thickers alphas.
