Sarah Packer – Girl Squad

Hello Lovelies,
Sarah with you today to share what I have created using a lovely cut file by Paige Evans (available pre cut in black, white and cream) called Girl Squad.

I had already decided what I was going to do with this cut file, before I had the photo, which was taken at a scrapbook retreat a couple of months back!
I created my background first by cutting down a sheet of white cardstock to 11.5×11.5 and backed on to a sheet of patterned paper from the Crate Paper All Heart collection.  I then added some ink splatters using Heidi Swapp Colour shine and set aside to dry.

I backed the entire cut file with patterned papers from the Crate Paper All Heart paper pad and added foam pads to the reverse.  Once my background was dry I added the cut file towards the top of the page, so that there was space at the bottom for my photo.
I layered the photo on some more of the patterned papers from the paper pad, adding foam pads to the first layer, so that it gave it a bit of lift from the next layer.

Once the photo was in place, I embellished the whole page with die cuts and some of the puffy stickers from All Heart. I felt it need something extra, so added some lovely holographic stars and heart stickers, a couple of patterned star stickers, word stickers and some bling from some sequins!

I really love how this page turned out and is definitely “Girl Power”!
