Sarah Packer – Class of 2020 – Virus Cluster Cut File

Hi There lovelies,

I am here today to share a virus! Not literally, obviously! I used the Virus Cluster cut file (pre cut here) for a layout about my daughter’s year group missing out on sitting their GCSEs due to the Covid 19 pandemic. It was such a sad day when they all found out that the Friday the schools closed would be their last day at school, forever and they only had 2 days to come to terms with that news.

I had the perfect photo of them all together just before the all left school, for the last time

I backed the virus with some patterned papers from my stash and and raised it up on foam pads. I decided to use patterned paper for the background and chose Choir from the Pinkfresh Studio Super Cool collection.

I mounted the photo on another piece of patterned paper and some velum and added it to the background.

I fussy cut the #friends polaroid from the Hashtag paper, again from Pinkfresh Studio. I gutted the middle and added it on top of one of those with a yellow centre, as I wanted more yellow on the page and tucked it under the photo slightly.

I then added some phrase stickers, puffy stickers and fussy cut elements to the page, again from the Super Cool collection and finished off with a couple of puffy dots.

I drew some lines under the photo and added my journaling.
