Sarah Packer – Christmas on Carnaby Street
It’s Sarah here today! I’m loving using embossing powders on cut files at the moment and this one is no exception!! I have used the Paige Evans Lightstrand Background cut file (pre cut in white, cream or black) in white and used a lovely rich gold embossing powder to make it more Christmassy and to fit in with the theme of my page.
Once I had heat embossed the cut file, I then back filled the bulbs with an Echo Park Christmas range I bought last year! Nothing like a bit of stash busting eh?!
I loved the colours in this range and they totally fitted with the all the bright colours in my photos of the Carnaby Street Christmas lights and decorations which I took last year. I do love a trip in to London to look at the Christmas lights!
Once they were all filled, I raised the cut file up on foam pads and stuck it to some black cardstock to make it pop! I then mounted my 2 photos on some of the leftover papers and stuck them to the cut file. I didn’t use too many embellishments on this page, as the lights were enough. I just used a couple of stickers from the Echo Park range, some wood veneer pieces, sequins and some Heidi Swapp Gold Colour shine. For the title I used some glittery gold Thickers.
Check out the Pretty My Page store for more fab Pretty My Page exclusive and Paige Evans cut files. There are some fab ones to use in your December Daily layouts ?
With love and colour
