Sarah Packer – Chilly Days

Sarah says:

Hi All,

I’m here today to share with you a page I created using the super cute Heart Mittens cut file.

I cut it from white cardstock and snipped the mitten ribbon off as I wanted to add my own twine for more texture. I used a page protector to create 2 little shaker pockets to sit behind the hearts on each mitten. I fused them together with my fuse tool and filled them with glitter and a few sequins.

I chose the craft brown with white spots from the Crate Paper Snow and Cocoa range (yes, I know, I’m a hoarder!) for the background so that the mittens would stand out. I backed the mitten trim with some pink paper from the same range and popped it up on foam pads. I added the teal twine as the mitten ribbon and stuck it to the background.

I added the Chilly Days perspective by Bramble Fox as my title as it goes perfect with the mittens and my photo! I layered the photo on some scraps of paper I had left from the Snow and Cocoa papers and used some chipboard pieces and ephemera and a few sequins for some added bling and voila! A winter wonderland page ?

I loved using this cute cut file, I think it would look really lovely on cards or in December journals etc.

With love and colour

x
