ROFL for UK Scrap Addicts

What’s a girl to do when there is a story to be told but the pictures are blurry? Scrap them anyway I say!

When a certain friend of mine was shown something funny on the internet, I couldn’t help trying to capture the moment because I knew it would forever make me laugh over and over again. It was one of those “tears of laughter running down your legs” moments…

Over on UK Scrap Addicts our monthly challenge is to use multiple (3+) photos so this sequence of action shots is perfect. I tend to get all my photos printed in 6×4 and then choose which ones to scrap, however I needed smaller photos for this layout and not all photos can be cropped down. Obviously I didn’t have time to properly frame the shots here though so there was plenty of extra space to get rid of.

I knew I wanted to use the Simple Stories Emoji Love collection as it was a perfect fit for the story. The papers are really bold and bright so I mounted my photos onto white and then black to give lots of contrast and lift them away from the busy papers.

I created a random border across the top third of the page with the photos and created some torn strips across the very bottom for extra colour and chaos.

I embellished the layout with chipboard and die cut pieces from the collection and some stickers from the Sticker Tablet (available in Clearance while stocks last / we get ready to move to just cut files) and then sprinkled a few enamel dots around for some final bits of texture.

Blurry photos yes, but a fun layout and a big smile every time I remember the story – and that’s what scrapbooking is all about for me.
