Laura Rumble – Paige Evans Love pre-cut file

Hey folks, Laura back with another 12×12. I have used the Paige Evans Love cut file which you can find here. As with all the Pretty My Page pre-cuts you can choose cream, white or black cardstock and can have the file re-sized to suit your needs.

I have chosen 4 papers from a Jillibean Soup 6×8 plaid pad. The red and the green match the photo, the blue because of the well known ‘Laura Law’ that blue goes with everything and then a nice neutral beige. I back each letter with a different colour.

I did a little bit of maths and measuring and cut a triangle from the middle of the left and the right of the white background. I backed these with the beige check paper.

I pulled out three coloured threads from my stash that matched the papers and ran some straight stitch borders around the edge of the background.

I outlined the triangles with white stitching. I also added some white sewing under where the cut file will sit. This helps to ground it and stops it feeling like it is floating in the middle of the page.

I finished off with some Heidi Swapp gold glitter alphas. I am trying to use the rest of this sheet up so as well as building the title ‘brotherly love’ I also added some hearts, the boys’ initials in {curly brackets} and the date. Either side of the date I added the middles of some 9’s – it’s those little finishing touches that I love.
