Laura Rumble – Minc-ed Acorns

Hello Pretty My Page fans!  Laura here today.

I have a process video for you today using Acorn Mesh cut file and my foiling machine.

I’m slightly unsure of this layout, I don’t love it, but I think I’ve worked out why… I struggle with kraft and I struggle with ‘whole page’ coverage.  There is nothing wrong with the layout at all but now I know which bits I don’t love I can work on making a version that I do love!

I’ve used Minc reactive mist and a paintbrush to paint through the cut file, then removed the cut file and extended the painted area a little.  The key is a thick coat of mist… as I found out after my first attempt.  I did this in stages – painting, drying, foiling until all the leaves and acorns were coloured.

The rest was simple layering of scraps and tags from the PMP layering pack.

You can see the process video here.

Thanks for stopping by!
