Keighley Brennan – A Hug in a Mug – Hot Chocolate Mug Mesh
Hey Everyone, Keighley here aka Dimple Scraps. I was so excited to be asked to be a Guest Designer for Pretty My Page, the cutfiles are all absolutely gorgeous and it was so difficult to choose which ones to work with.

I decided to go for a Christmas theme and to start with I couldn’t wait to use the Hot Chocolate Mug Mesh Cutfile, I knew I had the perfect photo to go with it. I scrap in an A4 size and I have a Silhouette portrait 2, so there was a couple of ways for me to use this cutfile and I opted to shrink it right down, I have had issues shrinking cutfiles down in the past especially really detailed designs but this one cut beautifully. You can purchase the file pre-cut here and as with any of the files, you can leave a note to have them cut at your required size.

I’ve used the Scrap Squad event kit for this layout of my son with his “snowman soup” off our Christmas elves. I cut two triangles of patterned paper, one larger than the other and attached those to the bottom left and top right of my white cardstock, I cut the cutfile in white cardstock and layered it on top of the bottom triangle, I love the white on white but also how the cutfile really pops on top of the pattered paper.

I added some paper layers behind my photo and stuck it down on top of the cutfile, I finished off with a couple of embellishments and a title which is perfect for this layout.

I really hope I’ve inspired you to change the sizes of a cutfile to suit your design.
Thank you so much for having me Lisa-Jane, I really enjoyed working with your cutfiles.
