Jane Gwynn – Holidays Are Coming

It’s Jane’s turn for a Christmassy layout today! 

She says –

This layout is based just on how I am feeling,  like the holidays are coming and its time to stay home and get cosy.  I used the ‘tree mesh’ digital cut file that I cut on sheet 07 of the Pink Paislee pick me up collection to give a lovely ombre effect.

I backed the cut file onto a lovely snowy black patterned paper from the Bella Blvd Pop Quiz range. Then the photo is backed with 3 different papers from Pebbles Lakeside collection.  Mixing up a few collections like this gives your layouts a totally individual look and it’s a great way to stash bust too (to make way for more pretty papers obviously…!)  

To finish off, the whole layout is embellished with some Simple Stories chipboard ephemera and stickers and finally some gold foam Thickers from American Crafts called “Wonder”.

This cut file was really easy to use and can be made to look really different depending on what you do with it.  It could also be cut into smaller pieces too to stretch over more than one layout and even used in Christmas journals.  We’re loving seeing all the December documenting ideas everywhere.  I hope yours is going well!
