Haunted House – Scrapbook Layout
Hi hi!
I’m still catching up with sharing Halloween as well as Christmas from the last few months, but at least this photo is actually from last October!

I created this page for a sketch challenge at the October Go Go cyber crop. Miss B had spent the whole day cooking and preparing a Halloween feast including this fab spider shaped bread! My little witchling – so much love.

I cracked open my Crate Paper Hey Pumpkin for this but like Simple Stories, they have a tendency towards ivory rather than white in their papers. This makes it difficult to use white cardstock (for me anyway) but the subtle pattern of doodled stars the ivory made this paper a great neutral background.

I stuck pretty closely to Lorraine’s fab sketch, even down to breaking out my stamps for another layer as the image suggested. I seriously need to embrace my stamps a LOT more. I actually quite like it when I do!

The fab cobweb and spider were freebies from Pear Tree Cut Files that were available for the October event. I trimmed the spider off after cutting the whole file on my Silhouette and popped him (how do you sex a spider?) into the top corner and I love how it all looks together. This is definitely one of my favourite layouts from the last 6 months.
Stay safe and keep smiling x
