Go-Go Traveller’s Notebook P1
You may have seen a few of my posts on Instagram sharing some of my traveller’s notebook spreads from my Go-Go Getaway retreat in June last year. I’ve actually completed all of the pages now and I’m so happy that I’ve finished a project!

I’ve used a Dylusions Traveller’s Notebook because it takes loads of mixed media really well and this is a great way to add layers without adding bulk. Although you’ll see after a few posts that I still ended up with a chunky monkey!

I think this page was inspired by a challenge for National Scrapbooking Day (as many of my pages in this book were) but I can’t for the life of me remember which ones were from where now. I think this one might have been a mixed media challenge. In the end the pink spray was a bit too overwhelming so I added a sheet of glittery vellum to tone it down a bit and I love the effect. I used our ‘Let’s Go’ cut file for this spread about setting off for somewhere new.

I used Shimelle’s Glitter Girl collection throughout the book for continuity and because the colours and the theme fit perfectly. We used Shimelle’s Box Of Crayons collection throughout the weekend and so one of the desk gifts was this fun little box of “crayons” (sweeties!) so I had to add that into my book. I’ve also been using the Glitter Girl sticker book which has been great because the stickers are really thin and the layers soon add up!
I’ll be sharing a few pages each day for the next few days and chatting about the process for the project a bit more so I hope you’ll stop by again.
With love and colour! x
