Claire Murphy – You Rock My World

Hi friends, it’s Claire here on the last day of the month – can you believe it is going to be March tomorrow already?

I just love anything travel themed being someone that enjoys her holidays.
So of course I wanted to use the globe cut file.

Initially I was going to do a travel themed layout but decided to change it up and make a layout using pinks and yellows and teals and scrap a photo about me and my hubby. The title itself was easy – You Rock My World. The cut file gave me the title and it saved me having to think of a title myself!!
So I used a whole load of scraps from my favourite Dream Big from Simple Stories to back the cut file.

I used some foam behind the cut file to pop it up a bit on the background paper which helps to bring dimension and shadows behind the cut file. I then used some scraps again to layer behind my photo and created 3 simple clusters from ephemera, stickers and and even a little fussy cutting.

The layout took me about an hour in total but I’m sure you’ll all agree that the time is worth spent on getting a finished result on your cut file. You can see the layout come together here.
