Claire Murphy – Scrappy Retreat
Hi friends, it’s Claire here today with a cute little project using the ‘Paige Evans Accordian Mini Album with Tags’.
So when I get the chance to make a mini album then I do. But – they can be time consuming and when you’re time poor sometimes, then they often get forgotten. But, when 3 different Paige Evans cut files for mini albums are available from Pretty My Page, it can really speed the process up.

This cut file was super quick and easy to put together – I’m even looking forward to making some more as gifts. What a great idea!
I used the pre-cut white outer sleeve and the concertina inserts as my base. The file does come with the pieces for the paper overlays and also tags which you can use as a template or cover them etc, but as I wanted to use so many different patterned papers I found it just as well to cut these with my trimmer.

I added on my patterned paper (a mix of Amy Tan Stay Sweet and Heidi Swapp Colour Fresh) and concertinaed my inserts and it was looking fab. There is plenty of space to put photos and it will even hold bulkier embellishments like chipboard as each insert has a small spine to allow for it.
I added some foam tape behind pieces of ephemera in mine and there is still room for more. So if you wanted a concertina of photos coming off of one of the inserts then this will still work also. The world is your oyster with this cut file. And it makes the cutest little mini album.

Added some photos and some die cuts and stickers and I was finished.
I was so pleased to be able to document a girly scrappy weekend away all in one little album. You can see the process video here.
ps – the closure will be added later when I can get a Velcro hook and latch added to it but you could use ribbon or magnets also. Or just leave as is!!
