Christina Howard (Guest Designer) – Fab U Lous

Christina Howard here for the guest designer spot for December. Thank you so much for having me. 
I chose the Fab u lous cut file (pre-cut here) as I think they are so versatile and easy to use. I dusted off my Silhouette Cameo 3 and got to work. I chose the Dear Lizzy She’s Magic Collection as the colours of my daughter’s swimsuit matched the colours perfectly. 

I cut the file out onto white card and then stuck this onto the Dear Lizzy She’s Magic ‘Perfectly Imperfect’ paper. I then used a craft knife to cut away the excess.

Next I used foam tape and stuck this to the back of the cut file. This gave the title some dimension off of the page. I adhered the Fabulous cut file found here onto the reverse side of ‘One More Chapter’ paper. 

Then to embellish. I fussy cut the flowers from the x paper and positioned them and used a few of the ‘Delightful’ chipboard phrase thickers from the same collection. 

I finished of the title by adding ‘you’ to make the title ‘Fabulous You’. The last finishing touch was to add my journaling. A few white ink splatters with acrylic paint and of course the date. I don’t ever think a layout is finished until the date is on there.
