Boo!

Hi Hi!

Yesterday I shared my first layout for my Crop In The Country class last October and I mentioned that I had some of the kit left over. I created two more layouts that were definitely more on a Halloween theme than a harvest / Autumn one! The Pebbles Spoooky collection had the beautiful floral in it and I wish there had been more of this vibe but I stretched those fussy cut flowers as far as I could!

My girl Miss B, the baby pumpkin in the photo (now a pre-teen…) is also known as Boo among many other names, so I embraced all the Boo / Bootiful / Boo yah bits and bobs! The three very thin strips used are actually branding strips with a full width design, which I thank them for. The Photo is actually from a birthday party in October and anyway, Halloween doesn’t have to be ghoulish (indeed in the US it’s not at all) so I tried to keep the rest of the layout quite pretty and cute. I added a glassine bag for some journalling and then had a treat bag die cut and journalling card poking out. I scattered the rest of the flowers around and added some to the bag.

I popped up some of the die cuts and title on foam pads but I still wanted more “stuff” so I rescued a few stray sequins to scatter about and added in some gold thread flourishes. Goodness that thread nearly sent me back over the edge. It’s a bit thinner than most baker’s twines but not made of cotton and it had a total mind of it’s own. I may have said a bad word…

So after completing 2 layouts I STILL had enough left over to sneak another page. This next one has a different feel again so I hope you pop back in on Friday to see how I stretched it out.

Stay safe and keep smiling x
